Asimina Christoforou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economic and Regional Development and specializes in Economic Theory with emphasis on Public Economics. She received her PhD from the Department of International and European Economic Studies of the Athens University of Economics and Business (Greece). She has participated in research projects and has taught at domestic and foreign universities. She is on the editorial board of international scientific journals. She is a member of European and international scientific/professional organizations in the economics field, and acts as the coordinator of research groups with the responsibility of promoting research and planning sessions at the organizations’ annual conferences.
