Dr. Dimitrios D. Kantianis is a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (Greek Government Gazette 2763Β’/08-08-2017) at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Department of Economic and Regional Development, Regional Science Sector, with knowledge subject: ‘Regional Development and Infrastructure Project Management’ (Greek Government Gazette 3951Β’/10-11-2017). He holds a Diploma degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering, University of Patras, Greece; a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Construction Management, School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, The University of Bath, United Kingdom; and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the Department of Economic and Regional Development, Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, Greece. His research interests include: whole-life cycle project management; construction project economics; and relationship of infrastructure projects with regional and urban development. He has published 8 research papers in international scientific journals with full paper review (citations: 10 Scopus, 49 Google Scholar) and has presented 16 papers in several domestic and international scientific conferences. He is also a tutor/advisor and dissertations supervisor at the postgraduate course ‘M.Sc. in Engineering Project Management’, School of Science and Technology, Hellenic Open University. He has a 25-year experience in the planning, design, financing and execution of public and private construction projects.
