Sofia Gkountoufa has been an employee of Panteion University since 1991 and she joined the Department of Economic and Regional Development in 2001. She has also worked as the private secretary of the Vice Dean of Economic Planning and Development and the secretary of the Institute of Regional Development. She speaks English and Italian.
